Peter Jackson has released another 10 minute video blog on the continued production of “The Hobbit” starring Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Ian McKellen, Andy Serkis, Orlando Bloom and Cate Blanchett.

The video blog looks into the behind the scenes production with the production shooting of “The Hobbit” in 3D. The production staff and cast discusses in detail about using the Red Epic cameras on the production set.

The blog also gives us good look of a lot of characters and background sets from the movie.

The film follows Bilbo Baggins, a Hobbit who journeys to the Lonely Mountain accompanied by a group of dwarves to reclaim a treasure taken from them by the dragon Smaug.

“The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” will be in theaters on December 14 next year. The second part “The Hobbit: There and Back Again” will follow in theaters on December 13, 2013.
